1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SRCH (the "Platform"), operated by SRCH ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The service

SRCH is a marketplace that connects surfers ("Surfers") with independent surf coaches ("Coaches") for video analysis, live one-to-one online coaching, and in-person sessions. SRCH is not a coach and does not provide coaching services directly.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian's consent) to use SRCH.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Bookings and payments

• Prices are set by each Coach and shown in your local currency where possible.
• Payment is taken at the time of booking via our payment provider.
• SRCH charges a service fee, which is included in the displayed price.
• Coaches receive payment after the session has been delivered, subject to our payout schedule.

5. Cancellations and refunds

• Video analysis: refundable in full if work has not yet started.
• Live one-to-one sessions: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
• In-person sessions: cancellation terms are set by each Coach and shown at checkout.
• If a Coach fails to deliver, you are entitled to a full refund.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload footage you do not have the right to share.
• Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or discriminate against anyone.
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform to take bookings off-site.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of footage and other content you upload. By uploading it, you grant SRCH and your selected Coach a limited licence to use it for the purpose of providing the coaching service. All trademarks, logos, and Platform content are owned by SRCH or its licensors.

8. Coaches

Coaches act as independent contractors. SRCH vets Coaches on application but does not guarantee any specific outcome, improvement, or result. Any advice given is the professional opinion of the Coach.

9. Liability

Surfing carries inherent risks. You are responsible for your own safety in and around the water. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SRCH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of the Platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via the Platform.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland, Australia.
