The story behind SRCH

Most mornings you'll find me at Burleigh or Snapper trying to squeeze a few waves in before the wind turns. Like every surfer I know, I've spent years plateauing — knowing I could be better, but never quite cracking why my turns weren't connecting or my pop-up felt slow.
I tried lessons, I filmed myself, I watched hours of YouTube breakdowns. None of it really worked. The lessons were generic, the footage was useless without someone to interpret it, and the YouTube tips were aimed at "the average surfer" — not me.
What I actually needed was simple: a great coach who could watch my clips and tell me exactly what to work on. That's it. I built SRCH because that service didn't exist — and now hundreds of surfers around the world use it to actually progress, instead of guessing.
I also founded FitGrills, another Australian-owned brand built on the same belief: if the product on the market isn't good enough, build a better one.
